Let me put this out there: I am not a coupon person. It’s not that I have anything against coupons. I just always forget I have them. I go to the grocery store and, just as I’m leaving, I remember that the coupon for such and such item is on my fridge. Solution: Ibotta app.
I recently discovered this app and really like it. It’s for the chronically forgetful like me.
Basically, the app gives you a list of deals that are available at local stores. You can earn a certain amount of money for each item purchased out of that list. All you have to do is click the the item you purchased and run through the different tasks. For example, if you bought Simply Lemonade, you click the item and the app may ask you to read a nutrition fact or take a quick poll. Each of the tasks is worth a certain amount of money ($0.25-$0.75 each).
After you’ve completed the tasks for each of your bought items, Ibotta will tell you how much money you can redeem. From there, all you have to do is take a picture of your receipt showing that the items were purchased and the money you earned will be sent to your PayPal.
Best part? No more coupons! Use the app whenever you have a moment to spare and earn money back!
